October Workshop: Write Now! And How?Saturday, October 16, 2021 1:00 - 2:30 pm.
Session Topics: Don't be afraid of the blank page. In this hands-on session you will learn how to get the words out of your head and onto the page. We will use writing prompts, and explore other methods to stir creativity through activities.
Activities will include: Mind Mapping, Create your own Story Starter Cards (using note cards and Binder Rings).
Supplies Needed: Note Cards (Colored Preferably), Medium Binder Rings, Single Hole Puncher
November Workshop: Laughter HELPS Saturday, November 20, 2021 1:00 - 2:30 pm.Session Topics: In this session you will explore ways to use humor in your message or project. We will discuss humor writing tips, using humor appropriately, and. This session will also include writing prompts and dedicated time for silent writing (15 mins).

The Fall Writing Workshops are free.
2. What age group does the series target?
All ages are welcome, but we recommend 10 years and older.
3. Do I have to attend both workshops?
No. Simply attend the sessions that interest you.
4. Can I attend using zoom or the telephone?
Yes, either method is fine.
